Within Lux Dei operates a division specialized in 3D scanning and printing of statues and sacred objects, one of the few entities in Italy to offer this technology applied to devotional art. Thanks to state-of-the-art professional scanners, we are able to capture every detail of an existing statue, even large ones or those kept in hard-to-reach places, and reproduce it faithfully in resin, with a precision that respects the forms, proportions, and artistic value of the original. When direct scanning is not possible, we reconstruct the digital model starting from photographs and iconographic references, returning a work that is always faithful to the original subject. Each piece, once printed, is hand-finished and painted by our decorators: a process that combines precision technology and traditional Italian craftsmanship, for replicas that are lighter and more resistant than the original statues, yet equally authentic in spirit.
