Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, within 2 hours of order confirmation, by calling one of our operators who must directly process the order cancellation request. The amount paid will be refunded within 7 working days of the request.
If the order has already been processed and the goods delivered, the withdrawal procedure (see below) applies instead of a direct cancellation.
Right of withdrawal (for private consumer purchases)
If you purchase as a private consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 30 days of receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right:
- notify us of your decision to withdraw by writing to our contact details (you may also use the withdrawal form available in the Refund policy)
- return the goods within 30 days of notifying us of the withdrawal (return shipping costs are borne by the customer)
- the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase, excluding delivery costs
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- personalized or custom-made items
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygienic reasons if unsealed after delivery
This excludes, for example, liturgical consumables once opened and First Communion robes due to sizing errors. For operational details on return times and methods, see the Returns and refunds page.
Note: the right of withdrawal in this form applies to those purchasing as private consumers, not in the course of a professional activity (e.g., purchases made on behalf of an entity with a VAT number for institutional purposes follow the agreed commercial conditions).
Legal guarantee of conformity
If you purchase as a consumer, products are covered by a 24-month conformity guarantee from the date of purchase, provided that the defect is reported within 2 months of discovery. In the event of a confirmed defect, you are entitled to repair or replacement; if these are not possible or are not performed within a reasonable time, you may request a price reduction or termination of the contract.
Availability and product description
Prices, descriptions, and availability are subject to change without notice. Images are for illustrative purposes only: slight color differences compared to the actual product (due to monitors, photography, etc.) do not constitute a lack of conformity.
Delivery and liability
Orders are processed according to the details provided in the order confirmation, subject to product availability. In the event of failure to collect the package within the timeframe established by the courier, the goods will be returned to us, and we will issue a refund for the product and shipping (for non-EU deliveries, shipping costs and any customs duties are non-refundable). Minimum age for site use
Use of Lux Dei is permitted to adults; use is strictly prohibited for children under 13.
Dispute resolution
For any dispute relating to a purchase, you can contact us directly. If you are a consumer residing in Europe, you may also use the European Commission's ODR platform for online dispute resolution.
