Saint Carlo Acutis Statue - 80cm

This statue of Saint Carlo Acutis is an original creation by Lux Dei S.R.L.S., designed and produced in our workshop in Mileto (VV).
The work is the result of a meticulous digital design and additive manufacturing (3D printing) process that allows for an unprecedented level of anatomical precision and fidelity to iconographic references.

✅ Development process

3D Design and Modeling
The figure was digitally sculpted using professional 3D sculpting software, in accordance with the Saint's proportions and posture.
Every element — clothing, crucifix, hair, expression — was manually refined in digital form.

Production via photopolymer resin 3D printing
The work was created using a professional 8K LCD 3D printer, which allows for perfectly smooth surfaces and extremely fine details.
Subsequently, the various sections were assembled and internally reinforced with resin to ensure structural strength and stability.

Finishing and artisanal painting
After printing, the statue undergoes a cycle of washing, sanding, priming, and manual painting with water-based acrylic pigments, followed by a transparent UV protective layer.
Each piece is therefore unique and slightly different, an expression of the artist's hand.

Patent and design protection
The model is registered with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) as an ornamental design/model.
This certifies its originality and guarantees the protection of the work’s form and artistic identity.
